Extract: Andrea’s background is in International publishing, sales and consulting with strong cross-cultural business proficiency. His experience in teaching and lecturing led him to join Pearson Education in Australia, a world leader in education publishing. After consecutive years of exceeding sales targets and delivering double digit growth, he was promoted to an International consultant role with Pearson Longman in New York. In this role, he was responsible for building a stronger market profile, understanding of the value of the core products and capability to generate growth in sales revenue across Latin America.

Andrea is flexible, adaptable and stimulated by new learning. He has worked and lived in Australia, Latin America, USA, Italy and Japan and speaks English, Italian and Spanish. This gives him strong intercultural skills and depth, enabling him to work effectively in a globally diverse and rich business context. He is adept at developing strong and genuine working relationships. At a New York based Investor Relations firm, he researched the use of new media to engage the investment community. Since returning to Australia, he has worked in education, managing the development of digital delivery platforms; lecturing; and building a communications portfolio and capability in a not-for-profit foundation. His inquisitive mind motivates him to move beyond established paradigms to seek out the innovative.

Andrea is an organisational change expert with qualifications in communication, business, psychotherapy, counselling, ignite your spirit therapy and teacher training, and education.  He has a Graduate Diploma in Business, a Bachelor of Arts, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and is a qualified TEFL and ESL teacher. His training in psychotherapy coupled with his corporate experience has given him an embodied understanding of the psychological dynamics that often play out within organisations, including the blockages that can prevent positive change and transformation. He is committed to organisational change that seeks to encourage, develop and galvanise the unique qualities and highest potential of individuals within an organisation so that this may be expressed as organisational success, innovation and benefit to the world at large.
